We are operating under the beautiful, wild delusion that skate culture and high-end tropical wear can somehow solve a massive local stray crisis. It turns out, combining the adrenaline of a frontside grind with the absolute chaos of running an undercover canine rescue operation is the exact kind of madness this beach was missing.
Yes, instead of waiting for a functioning system to step in, a dedicated portion of everything you buy at the Oasis Pacific Tropical Shop goes directly toward treating and rehabilitating local street dogs who have been thoroughly abandoned by everyone else. It’s capitalism, but slightly less evil because it funds dog food.
Since the stray crisis isn't going to fix itself through thoughts and prayers, we are actually doing the exhausting manual labor across three areas:
The Backyard Shelter: We’ve personally dragged, treated, and housed over 20 dogs right here. It’s a zoo, but someone has to do it.
The Neighborhood Snipping Campaign: We fund sterilization and spaying because, shocking as it is, letting hundreds of thousands of stray dogs continuously multiply on the concrete doesn't end well.
The Trauma Fund: We throw actual cash at emergency medical treatments, food, and long-term recovery for animals that have been run over or worse.
